Role Overview
As a Senior Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities across our technology and digital services offerings. You will be the bridge between Exsilio’s deep technical capabilities and prospective clients’ business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead generation & pipeline building
Research and identify potential clients (enterprises, mid-market, startups) that can benefit from Exsilio’s enterprise applications, data analytics, cloud, and design services. Develop and qualify sales leads through outreach (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, events) and networking.
2. Sales strategy & execution
Define and execute sales strategies aligned with Exsilio’s growth goals, focusing on value-based selling (not just features). Work with marketing to craft proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to prospective clients. Lead sales negotiations, including commercial terms, scope, and contracts. Collaborate with delivery and technical teams to ensure proposals are feasible, competitive, and aligned with client needs.
3. Account management / business expansion
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, understand their evolving needs and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities (e.g., from design engagement to analytics services). Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients see Exsilio not just as a project supplier but as a long-term partner in their innovation journey.
4. Market intelligence & feedback loop
Stay up to date on industry trends (cloud, AI, BI, digital transformation) and competitive landscape. Provide feedback to Exsilio’s leadership and product/delivery teams on market demand, pricing, and solutions. Help shape Exsilio’s service roadmap by articulating client needs and market gaps.
5. Sales operations & reporting
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline status in CRM. Report on key sales metrics (e.g., conversion rate, deal size, sales cycle length). Participate in regular sales reviews and planning sessions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
1. Experience 5–6 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in technology services / software consulting / digital transformation. Proven track record of closing high-value B2B & B2C deals (enterprise or mid-market level). Experience working with cross-functional teams (technical, delivery, marketing).
2. Domain Knowledge Understanding of software development, cloud-native applications, data analytics / BI, AI, or UX design is strongly preferred. Ability to translate technical value propositions into business outcomes for clients.
3. Skills Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), especially for C-level and senior stakeholder engagement. Strong negotiation and deal structuring ability. Strategic mindset with an ability to think long-term about client partnerships. Highly organized, with strong time management and CRM discipline. Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
4. Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA is a plus but not required.
